It’s fairly easy to increase the storage size of a virtual machine hosted on an Unraid server.

If your recovery partition (or any other partition) is between the unallocated space and partition you are trying to expand, you will need to get a tool to move them to the end of the virtual drive. I used Paragon’s Partition Manager. The community edition was free and it did the job in about three minutes.
