A Working Pianobar Ebuild

Thanks to Ted: There is a working ebuild for media-sound/pianobar. Make sure you add this one to ‘/usr/local/portage/media-sound’. (A great replacement to the flash based Pandora radio).

I stumbled upon a diamond in the rough; this should open the eyes of everyone who loves working out of a terminal… pianobar. Available on PromyLOPh’s gitHub is a terminal based Pandora.com streaming radio. Aside from the obvious (running in a terminal and feeling like the biggest nerd) it’s very lightweight, and doesn’t require a bulky internet browser. The only thing needed now is a lightweight QT style frontend, and we have an independent Pandora, or even better, widgets could work miracles with this!
